Join designer Georgia Farrell for a deep dive into textured knitting. This class will cover the basics of how knits and purls combine to produce many different stitches that we know and love, how to work these fabrics and how Georgia use these stitches to draw with texture and create fabrics full of depth and subtle pattern. Together, we will work on a swatch inspired by the textured fabrics used her my new collection Abstract Vol. 2, while she shares her tips and tricks for working these kinds of textured patterns.

Join designer Georgia Farrell for a creative take on intarsia inspired by her latest collection, Abstract Vol. 2. In this class, you will create a series of mini swatches, each inspired by a design from the collection that combines Rowan’s Summerlite 4ply, a soft matte cotton, with Rowan’s Kidsilk Haze, a light airy mohair and silk blend, through intarsia. Georgia will share all her tips and tricks for working intarsia with these two contrasting yarns, as well as the design process behind the designs.
