#architecturalinspiration 01

Just wanted to share some of my favourite #architecturalinspiration snaps that I have on the wall in my studio at the moment.

I see endless inspiration in architecture that I can translate into concepts when designing and pattern writing.

Sometimes it's the lines, shapes and angles, sometimes it's the contrasting textures and colours.

I love the big modern glass and steel buildings in the city, I used to spend days walking around taking picture and sketching them when I was studying in London, on the edge of the city where it meets Whitechapel and East London. I also love the brutalist architecture of the late half of the 20th century, all the concrete structures like these motorway bridges.

I can't imagine a time when I'll get bored of architecture!

I'm busily working away on tonnes of submissions for magazines and new ideas, lots of #architecturalinspiration around!

I hope you're all having a great week!
