CHSI Stiches

So last week I traveled up to Birmingham to the NEC for the CHSI Stitches trade show. It was a long and exhausting day but I loved every minute of it! I spent most of the day hanging out with my lovely and incredibly talented friend Emma Wright, meeting lots of lovely yarn producers, designers and magazine editors. As a self employed freelance designer, going to show's like this and meeting people who are in the same industry, actually in person, is not only great fun but an invaluable experience. Hopefully there will be some exciting thing's coming up that I can share with you all!

I designed myself some new business cards to take to the show, hope you like!

I came home with some gorgeous yarn, beautiful magazines and feeling very inspired by all the lovely people I met.

I also cast on with my The Little Grey Sheep mini skeins that I picked up at Unravel on the train to Birmingham, its seriously lovely! Just felt like playing with some simple fairisle patterns and going from there.

Train travel is always improved with coffee and knitting! Hope you all had a lovely weekend and aren't too sad about going back to work today!
